Services

Four pillars of service, one team

We build software that meets the needs of our clients. Our services are designed to be combined, so a single project might include design, web development and an AI automation. We work with startups, enterprises, NGOs and public sector organisations.

01 — Software development

Software development

Full product engineering. We take a validated idea from whiteboard to a production system with an on-call team behind it.

Web development

High-traffic web platforms and portals

Server-rendered and SPA web products built for speed, accessibility and search visibility. We specialise in complex multi-tenant platforms, administrative portals and public facing sites that must stay up.

What is included

  • Next.js, Nuxt and React front ends with server-side rendering
  • Go and Node.js APIs with sane, documented contracts
  • PostgreSQL schemas designed for real query patterns
  • Redis caching, queues and rate limiting
  • Elasticsearch for search, filtering and log analytics

Mobile app development

iOS and Android apps people keep

Cross-platform mobile apps with offline-first data, background sync and store-ready releases. We build for low-bandwidth conditions and design the interface to stay usable on the devices our users actually own.

What is included

  • React Native and Expo with a shared design system
  • Offline caching and conflict-safe sync
  • Push notifications and deep linking
  • Store submission, phased rollout and crash triage

UI/UX design

Interfaces that survive contact with users

Research, interface design and design systems. We prototype early, test with real users and ship a component library your engineers can actually implement without guesswork.

What is included

  • Discovery workshops and user interviews
  • Wireframes, interactive prototypes and usability testing
  • Token-driven design systems in Figma and code
  • Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA

SaaS development

From MVP to multi-tenant scale

Product engineering for software businesses: metering, billing, tenant isolation, entitlements and the analytics you need to know whether the business works. We build the operational surface as well as the feature surface.

What is included

  • Multi-tenant architecture with row-level isolation
  • Subscriptions, usage metering and invoicing
  • Admin tooling, audit logs and data exports
  • Product analytics and churn instrumentation

Data analytics

Dashboards and pipelines people trust

Warehouse modelling, ELT pipelines and dashboards that answer a decision rather than decorate a screen. Every metric gets a definition, an owner and a test.

What is included

  • Data warehouse and dimensional modelling
  • Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL aggregation at scale
  • Bilingual reporting for local and international teams
  • Metric definitions with automated tests

02 — Outsourcing

Outsourcing

Extend your team with senior engineers, designers and QA. We plug into your repo, your standups and your release calendar.

Staff augmentation

Senior engineers inside your process

Vetted engineers who join your repositories and ceremonies on day one. We handle sourcing, payroll, equipment and performance management so you only carry the cost of the people doing the work.

What is included

  • Front end, back end, full stack and DevOps engineers
  • Weekly or monthly engagement, ramp up in two weeks
  • Overlap hours with your team, same time zone discipline
  • Knowledge handover and documentation as standard

Dedicated teams

A whole squad, managed for you

A cross-functional team: product owner, engineers, QA and designer, running your backlog. One monthly invoice, one accountable lead, one roadmap you can hold us to.

What is included

  • Squads of three to eight people
  • Scrum or Kanban, your cadence
  • Transparent timesheets and sprint reporting
  • Exit clause: you own the repository and the code

Maintenance & support

Keep shipping after launch day

Proactive maintenance for products we built or inherited. Dependency upgrades, security patching, monitoring, incident response and a monthly report that says what changed and why it matters.

What is included

  • Dependency and security patch cadence
  • Monitoring, alerting and on-call rotation
  • Incident response with post-mortems
  • Migration and refactoring of inherited codebases

03 — AI solutions

AI solutions

Applied AI that clears the bar in production. Retrieval over your own data, evaluations before launch, and a clear line between what the model does and what the code guarantees.

AI automations

Remove the repetitive middle of your process

We map a process, find the steps that do not need a human, and automate them with model calls wrapped in deterministic code. Every automation is measured on cost and error rate before it is switched on.

What is included

  • Document, invoice and email triage pipelines
  • Tool-using agents with approval gates
  • Structured extraction from unstructured documents
  • Human-in-the-loop review queues

AI chatbots

Assistants grounded in your documentation

Support and internal assistants built on retrieval over your own content, with citations in every answer, escalation to a human when confidence is low, and an evaluation set that catches regressions before your customers do.

What is included

  • Retrieval augmented generation over your content
  • Multilingual answers, including Amharic where useful
  • WhatsApp, Telegram, web widget and API channels
  • Evaluation harness and regression tests

AI analytics

Ask questions of your data in plain language

Natural language querying over a governed semantic layer, plus model-driven forecasting and anomaly detection. Answers cite the underlying rows, because a number nobody can trace is not an insight.

What is included

  • Natural language to SQL over a governed schema
  • Forecasting for demand, revenue and churn
  • Anomaly detection with alerting
  • Row-level provenance for every generated figure

04 — Developer training

Developer training

Train your engineers in Go, React, Vue and Nuxt. We run workshops, code reviews and mentoring programs that leave your team more capable than they were before.

Frontend training

Master React, Vue and Nuxt

Deep dive into modern frontend frameworks with hands-on workshops and real-world projects.

What is included

  • GIT basics, branching and pull requests
  • React, Vue and Nuxt best practices
  • Component libraries and design systems
  • Performance, accessibility and SEO

Backend training

Build scalable services with Go, Typescript and Python

Deep dive into backend development with hands-on workshops and real world projects.

  • Security and compliance in cloud environments

How we engage

Three ways we work with clients

Most long relationships change shape as trust builds. These are the shapes we start in.

Discovery project

Two weeks, fixed price, paid. Interviews, process mapping, a written scope with explicit exclusions, and a number we can stand behind.

Best when you know what you want but not what it costs

Dedicated team

A cross-functional pod running your backlog. One monthly invoice, one accountable lead, a roadmap you can hold us to.

Best when you need capacity, not a one-off

Maintenance retainer

Proactive patching, monitoring, on-call and a monthly report saying what changed. Also available for codebases we did not build.

Best when you already have a system in production

Working with us

The questions every project starts with

Cost, timelines, ownership and how we run delivery. If your question is not here, ask it directly and you will get the same kind of answer.

How much does a software project cost?

It depends on scope, so we do not publish a price list. Engagements start with a paid discovery phase that produces a written scope and a number we can stand behind. A focused build and a multi-quarter platform have very different budgets, and we will tell you early if your budget and your ambition do not match.

How long does a project take?

Median time to first release is six weeks from paid discovery kickoff. Discovery itself takes one to three weeks. A single-service engagement can ship sooner; a multi-tenant SaaS platform is measured in quarters.

Do you work with clients outside Ethiopia?

Yes. We work from Addis Ababa in East Africa Time (UTC+3) and overlap with European, Middle Eastern and North American teams, scheduling calls and standups in your working hours. English is our working language for delivery.

Do we own the code and the intellectual property?

Yes. You own the repository, the code and the documentation. Outsourcing engagements include an exit clause that transfers everything to you, and handover documentation is standard rather than an upsell.

How does a project start?

Send a paragraph about the problem. We reply with initial questions and a rough range within one business day, then meet with the engineers who would do the work. If it looks like a fit, paid discovery produces a written scope.

What technologies do you build with?

Go, Python, TypeScript and JavaScript on the backend, React, Vue and Nuxt on the front end, and PostgreSQL, Redis and Elasticsearch for data and search. Mobile apps are built with React Native and Expo, and infrastructure runs in containers as code.

Can you take over a codebase you did not write?

Yes. We start with a review of the code, the deployment process and the test coverage, and give you a written assessment before proposing any work, so you are not buying an open-ended cleanup.

Let's build together

Tell us what you are building. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right team for it.

Send a paragraph about the problem. You will get a reply from an engineer, not a form letter, within one business day. If we are not the right fit, we will usually know someone who is.

What happens next

  1. 1 We reply with initial questions, a rough range and whether we are the right fit.
  2. 2 A call or a workshop with the engineers who would actually do the work.
  3. 3 A paid discovery phase produces a written scope and a number we can stand behind.
